Judge Carrington and Judge Greer were selected after a local Judicial Nominating Commission, comprised of a bipartisan group of residents and attorneys, conducted a thorough interview process designed to ensure that only the most fully professionally qualified candidates are selected to serve as Circuit Court Judges in the State.

Judge Greer and Judge Carrington were nominated and selected the first time they applied to fill a judicial vacancy, testifying to the high regard they are held in by their professional peers, and the non-attorney residents who reviewed their legal background, education, and community involvement.

Different bar and legal associations that recommended Judge Carrington and Judge Greer for the bench include the Maryland State Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland, the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association, the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association, and the Monumental City Bar Association, and the Charles County Bar Association.

Now serving on the bench, Judge Greer and Judge Carrington are standing for election to serve full terms as Circuit Court judges in Charles County.
